Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Greenwich and Woolwich Christopher Le Breton has pledged his support for a new cottage hospital on the Greenwich Peninsula.

Christopher Le Breton commenting on his hospital pledge said "Labour candidate Nick Raynsford has had 13 years to lobby for a new hospital in the area. With 32% rise in patients and increases in local population at the local Queen Elizabeth Hospital, more needs to be done to deliver healthcare to the people of Greenwich and Woolwich. A cottage hospital on the Greenwich Peninsula would provide a first class health service to be proud of."

Chris Le Breton would work with local authorities, NHS Trusts and employers to create a community cottage hospital for the people of Greenwich and Woolwich.
